This project was an intervention in an existing historic house and included renovation, an addition of a new kitchen, and expansion of the deck. The design emphasized existing historical details and coordinated them with materials and windows, creating architectural harmony.
The former porch was merged into the house and transformed into the spacious new kitchen surrounding the historic fireplace.
The natural wood Ipe™ deck was extended into the garden to capture the picturesque green surrounding from where one can admire the skyline of New York City.
